“wood inlaid(Mo’aragh)” is the craft of cutting and arranging natural colored woods to create a harmonious figure. Morteza Atash Panjeh has combined wood inlaid(Mo’aragh), lattice, and inlay working techniques to construct the “Shamse Allah” in just 80 days. At the center of this artwork, the sacred name of Allah is carved into metal zinc and decorated with a layer of gold. The background of the whole work is made of beech wood and its surface is made of Italian Alpine wood. Slime designs made of orange and maple wood and Khatai flower designs made of jujube, acacia, maple, boxwood, sycamore and alder trees are cut by hand using a saw and placed next to each other regularly. The border of the work has been framed and Isfahan and Shiraz inlays have been used in it, and for more durability, the work has been covered with polyurethane and polyester colors.
