"مطعمة الخشب (معرق)" هي حرفة قطع وترتيب الأخشاب الملونة الطبيعية لخلق شخصية متناغمة. قام مرتضى آتش بنجه بدمج تقنيات العمل والتذهيب المرصعة بالخشب(معرق) والشعرية والترصيع لصنع لوحة "آيات القرآن-تصميم المحراب" في غضون ستة أشهر.يظهر هذا العمل الفني آيات أربع سورة من القرآن الكريم بما في ذلك الفلق ، والناس ، والإخلاص ، والكافرون ، والآية 163 من البقرة. في خلفية العمل كله ، يتم استخدام خشب الجوز وشجرة الزان ويتم تشكيل سطحه بتطعيمات أصفهان وشيراز.

يتم قطع جميع تصميمات الوحل المصنوعة من خشب البرتقال والقيقب وزهور خاتاي المصنوعة من العناب والسنط وخشب البقس والموز وألدر يدويا بمنشار وتوضع بانتظام بجانب بعضها البعض. إنه مزين بالأحجار الكريمة الزجاجية لمزيد من الجمال ، وأخيرا ، لمزيد من المتانة ، يتم تغطية العمل بطلاء البولي يوريثين والبوليستر ومغطى بإطار ترصيع على طراز فن أصفهان وشيراز.

“wood inlaid(Mo’aragh)” is the craft of cutting and arranging natural colored woods to create a harmonious figure. Morteza Atash Panjeh has combined wood inlaid(Mo’aragh), lattice, and inlay working and gilding techniques to make the Panel of “Quran Verses-Mihrab Design” within six months.This artwork shows the verses of four surahs of the Quran including Al-Falaq, Al-Nas, Al-Ikhlas, and Al-Kafirun, and verse 163 of Al-Baqarah. In the background of the whole work, the wood of walnut and beech tree is used and its surface is shaped with Isfahan and Shiraz inlays.
The calligraphic script of the copy of this work was written by Mr. Osman Taha and the Thuluth text was written by Mr. Alireza Totunchi.
Slime designs made of orange and maple wood and khatai flowers made of jujube, acacia, boxwood, plantain and alder trees are all cut by hand with a saw and are regularly placed next to each other. It is decorated with glass gems for more beauty, and finally, for more durability, the work is covered with polyurethane and polyester paint and covered by a inlay frame in the style of Isfahan and Shiraz art.
For ease of transportation, this work consists of 5 pieces that are connected by bolts and nuts.
